Intermediate Piping Designers

We are seeking Intermediate Piping Designers with 3D CADWorx experience for our Piping Department located in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will report to the Piping Design/Drafting Lead, working closely with peers on Oil and Gas facilities – primarily in the Province of Alberta.

Responsibilities:

Principle responsibilities of the Intermediate Piping Designer consist of, but are not limited to:

• Produce drawings, related documents and models from preliminary information for oil and gas facilities located in Western Canada
• Ensure that work conforms to applicable codes and standards
• Coordinate drafting information with other designers or disciplines as required
• Support Senior Designer(s) and Squad Leader as required
• Assist other levels of piping design personnel
• Participate in site visits when required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in design layout related to the oil and gas industry including gas compression, oil facilities, oil and gas gathering systems and facilities, gas plants and water treatment.
• Excellent computer skills with 3D CADWorx modeling program, AutoCAD 2010, and Procad.
• Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory
