We are seeking Intermediate & Senior Process Engineers for our Process Engineering Department located in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will report to the Lead Process Engineer, working closely with peers on Oil and Gas facilities – primarily in the Province of Alberta.

Responsibilities:

  • Process studies and calculations.
  • Development of plant simulations, PFDs and H&M Balances.
  • Sizing and development of data sheets for a wide variety of conventional oil and gas industry and SAGD industry mechanical equipment and instruments.
  • Development and stewardship of P&IDs, LDTs, and S/D keys.
  • Review of equipment and instrument drawings from a process standpoint.
  • Participation in safety reviews and closeout of resulting recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering (Process / Mechanical) with P. Eng. eligibility in Alberta.
  • At least 7-10 years of accomplished experience in facilities engineering and design in the Oil & Gas industry.  Qualified candidates with less experience may also apply and will be considered for other positions.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, working well within a small but dynamic team environment, interfacing on a Professional level with all co-workers.
  • Practical experience on-site with commissioning and start-up is an asset.
  • Experience working on SAGD projects is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Results oriented individual who understands the need to produce quality designs, within budget and schedule constraints
