Project Engineer - Senior Positions- Calgary, AB

We are seeking Senior Project Engineers for our team located in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidates will report to our Project Managers working closely with peers on the design of Oil and Gas facilities – primarily in the Province of Alberta.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of design – planning and coordination of design efforts while maintaining schedule, cost, and work-hour budgets
• Monitor team progress – monitoring and hold accountable task and deliverable commitments across all design disciplines
• Technical leadership – playing an active leadership role during technical reviews including P&ID reviews, model reviews, HAZOP, and constructability reviews
• Conflict resolution – promoting a cooperative and professional working relationship between all design disciplines to ensure the most suitable resolution (least negative impact on project objectives) to technical issues is achieved
• Reporting – project status reports, coordination meeting minutes, schedule input

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of accomplished experience in facilities engineering and design in the Oil & Gas industry.  Qualified candidates with less experience may also apply and will be considered for other positions.
• Experience working on SAGD projects is an asset.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and CAD support.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, working well within a small but dynamic team environment, interfacing on a Professional level with all co-workers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
