Senior Piping Designer - Calgary, AB

We are seeking Senior Piping Designers with 3D CADWorx experience for our Piping Department located in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will report to the Piping Design/Drafting Lead, working closely with peers on Oil and Gas facilities – primarily in the Province of Alberta.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to Project Lead as required
• Design Piping 3D model on CADWORX
• Interface with other drafting disciplines relating to project issues
• Undertake project coordination responsibilities as instructed by Discipline Coordinator
• Assist Junior and Intermediate Design/Drafters in day to day design activities
• Piping design/drafting and act in a lead role on various small to large on-shore projects
• Develop all relevant piping drawings, scheduling and estimating
• Assist in the pipe checking

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Design/Drafting experience, with a background in Petrochemical, Refinery, Gas Plant or Onshore drilling experience
• Technical Diploma or Related Industry Experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A team player
• Experience with CADWorx, AutoCad, and ProCad
• Previous checking experience would be an asset
• Experience working on SAGD projects as asset
